About the Role
Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited is a leading mining and mineral processing company based in Nigeria, with a core focus on the exploration, extraction, and processing of lithium. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced drivers who are highly proficient in operating manual vehicles to support our operations in our Abuja and Nasarawa offices. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient daily movement of our personnel and materials, contributing directly to our company's overall operational success in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport staff, management, and goods to designated locations as required by company schedules.
- Ensure the official vehicle is consistently clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition at all times.
- Carry out routine pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, identifying maintenance needs and promptly reporting any mechanical issues.
- Strictly adhere to all national traffic laws, road safety regulations, and internal company driving policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all trips, mileage logs, and fuel usage for accountability.
- Perform minor routine maintenance tasks and ensure vehicle documents and licenses are valid and up to date.
- Must be highly proficient and experienced in driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Possession of a valid, current Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven professional experience working as a corporate or commercial driver.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local road networks, traffic patterns, and routes within Abuja, Nasarawa, and surrounding areas.
- Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, trustworthiness, and a professional demeanor.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work well with diverse team members.
