We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable, and dedicated Man Diesel Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods, materials, and staff, maintaining our high standards of service excellence, and supporting our mission to redefine food distribution nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate manual transmission company vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks, adhering strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Transport food products, distribution materials, and personnel to designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking oil, fuel, fluid levels, and tire conditions to ensure optimal vehicle health.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date daily logs of all trips, mileage covered, and fuel consumption for auditing and maintenance purposes.
- Assist warehouse staff with the safe loading and offloading of goods to prevent damage and ensure inventory integrity.
- Report any mechanical faults, accidents, or delays immediately to management for prompt resolution.
- Valid professional driver’s license with a clean driving record and extensive experience operating manual gear vehicles.
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within the FMCG, logistics, or food distribution sector in Nigeria.
- Comprehensive knowledge of major local transport routes, highway codes, and road safety protocols.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of loading, unloading, and long-distance driving.
