About the Role
Our Lady & St. Francis Catholic College (OSCCO), Osogbo, an elite co-educational secondary school under the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo, is currently seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Driver to join our dynamic support staff team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting students, staff, and authorized personnel safely and efficiently, ensuring all school vehicles are well-maintained and adhere to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport students, teachers, and staff members to and from school, educational excursions, and official school events.
- Observe all traffic laws, road signs, and school safety policies at all times.
- Conduct routine daily inspections of assigned vehicles, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights.
- Report any mechanical faults, damages, or required servicing promptly to school management.
- Maintain a clean interior and exterior of school vehicles on a regular basis.
- Keep accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Demonstrate exemplary conduct, patience, and professionalism when interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess a relevant school certificate or professional driving certification.
- Must hold a valid, current Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior professional driving experience, particularly within an educational institution, is an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to excellence, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Sound knowledge of Osogbo routes and surrounding areas in Osun State.
