About the Role

Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead our regulatory compliance and product registration activities. In this vital role, you will act as our primary liaison with key regulatory authorities, ensuring all company products meet stringent Nigerian and regional standards to support seamless business operations and market entry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive regulatory strategies for new product registrations, renewals, variations, and approvals with NAFDAC and other authorities.
  • Prepare, compile, and submit accurate regulatory dossiers and supporting documentation well within required timelines.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in Nigerian regulatory laws, guidelines, and standards, advising executive management accordingly.
  • Review products, labels, packaging, and promotional materials to guarantee strict compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with key regulatory bodies including NAFDAC and SON, coordinating seamlessly during facility audits and inspections.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to provide regulatory guidance across the product lifecycle.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the internal regulatory affairs team to foster a high-performance, collaborative working culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on regulatory affairs experience within the Nigerian market.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing NAFDAC product registrations, variations, and dossier submissions.
  • Deep working knowledge of NAFDAC guidelines, SON standards, and overall Nigerian regulatory frameworks.
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience leading a regulatory team is required.
  • Possession of a Master's degree or ECOWAS regulatory experience will be a distinct advantage.
