About the Role

Clinix Healthcare is a leading diagnostic services provider offering a full range of diagnostic and remedial solutions equipped with modern amenities of international standards. We are known for accurate results, reasonable rates, and quick turnaround times. We are currently seeking an organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team at the Ilupeju Branch in Lagos. The successful candidate will manage purchasing activities, vendor relationships, and supply needs to support efficient laboratory and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and engage reliable suppliers for laboratory reagents, medical consumables, equipment, and general supplies.
  • Process purchase requisitions and raise purchase orders in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve optimal value for money.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support stock control to prevent shortages or wastage.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier files, and documentation.
  • Follow up on deliveries, inspect received items, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and approved budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and internal departments.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and report procurement activities as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certification such as CIPSMN is an added advantage.
  • Previous experience as a Procurement Officer, preferably within a healthcare, laboratory, or similar service environment.
  • Completed NYSC discharge certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic procurement or inventory systems.
