About the Role
Bankers Warehouse Limited (BW) was incorporated in April 2002 and commenced operations in October 2007 in response to a demand for modernized and streamlined Cash-in-Transit and Cash Processing services in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in our daily operations by ensuring the safe, secure, and timely transportation of cash and valuables across designated routes, adhering strictly to safety protocols and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Safely drive and operate company bullion vans along assigned routes to ensure timely delivery of cash and valuables.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking oil, water, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, security guidelines, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Coordinate closely with security personnel and team members to ensure maximum safety during transit.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, traffic incidents, or security threats to management.
- Possess a valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record and relevant professional qualifications.
- Minimum of 3 to 10 years of professional driving experience, preferably involving bullion vans, heavy-duty vehicles, or secure logistics.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian traffic rules, major transport routes, and defensive driving techniques.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and situational awareness to handle security-sensitive environments.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
