We are currently seeking a professional, safety-conscious Driver to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in our daily operations by ensuring the secure and timely transportation of personnel, documents, and materials while upholding our strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport authorized employees, visitors, equipment, and materials to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure absolute roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and trip documentation.
- Ensure assigned vehicles are consistently clean, properly serviced, and maintained.
- Strictly observe all Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving procedures.
- Promptly report any vehicle defects, traffic incidents, or accidents to management.
- Plan efficient routes and monitor traffic updates to guarantee timely arrivals.
- Assist with the loading, offloading, and secure fastening of materials when required.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling passengers.
- Participate actively in mandatory defensive driving and HSE training sessions.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent academic qualification.
- Must possess a valid Nigerian Driver's Licence suitable for the relevant vehicle category.
- At least 3 years of verifiable professional driving experience, preferably within structured corporate or industrial environments.
- Prior working experience in logistics, supply chain, or industrial support operations is a distinct advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of major Nigerian road networks and traffic management systems.
- Certified defensive driving training and valid medical fitness certificates are highly preferred.
