About the Role
Biorapid Diagnostics Nigeria Limited is a leading diagnostic service provider leveraging cutting-edge technology across a network of over 500 laboratories. We are currently looking for a professional and dedicated Driver to join our dynamic team in Abuja and support our mission of advancing healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport staff, official documents, sensitive medical equipment, and other assigned materials to designated locations.
- Ensure timely arrival at all destinations while strictly observing Nigerian traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Keep the assigned company vehicle meticulously clean and in optimal working condition at all times.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, promptly reporting any mechanical faults or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all trips, fuel consumption, and routine vehicle servicing.
- Utilize expert knowledge of Abuja and its environs to plan efficient, traffic-optimized travel routes.
- Handle all company property with utmost responsibility, professionalism, and strict confidentiality.
- Minimum of NCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a valid, current Nigerian Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- At least 4 years of relevant professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate or healthcare environment.
- Extensive and demonstrable knowledge of Abuja roads, terrain, and surrounding areas.
- Exceptional punctuality, trustworthiness, and a proactive attitude toward road safety.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Must reside within the Karu, Kurudu, Jikwoyi, Nyanya, Mararaba, or Abacha Road axis for ease of commuting.
