About the Role
Prestigious Consulting Group, a leading global staffing agency in Lagos, is seeking a responsible, experienced, and professional Driver to provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation services. The ideal candidate must be intimately familiar with Lagos roads, demonstrate superior driving skills, and maintain an unwavering level of professionalism, discretion, and punctuality while serving our esteemed organisation and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport authorised passengers to designated personal and professional locations across Lagos.
- Ensure strict punctuality and adhere consistently to assigned schedules and itineraries.
- Plan efficient routes proactively, taking real-time traffic conditions and alternative bypasses into consideration.
- Maintain the pristine cleanliness and general condition of the assigned company vehicle at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks daily, including monitoring oil, water, tyre pressure, brakes, and battery health.
- Ensure all vehicle particulars, insurance documents, and licences remain up to date and legally compliant.
- Comply strictly with all Nigerian traffic regulations and national road safety standards.
- Report vehicle faults, scheduled maintenance requirements, or unexpected incidents promptly to management.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding passenger conversations and demonstrate exceptional workplace professionalism.
- Perform additional errand and driving-related duties as assigned by the organisation.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate or executive capacity.
- Possession of a valid, current Nigerian driver's licence with a completely clean driving record.
- Extensive and practical working knowledge of Lagos road networks, particularly the Lekki-Ajah axis and Victoria Island.
- Working knowledge of basic automotive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be exceptionally punctual, trustworthy, disciplined, and well-presented.
- Flexibility to adapt to irregular working hours when business needs require.
- Applicants residing directly in Lekki, Ajah, or immediate environs will be given strong preference.
