About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is looking for a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Driver to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide secure and efficient transportation services for our staff, goods, and company operations, ensuring high standards of professionalism and punctuality at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport staff, goods, materials, and company assets to designated locations according to schedule.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee optimal roadworthiness.
- Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tire pressure, and report mechanical faults promptly to management.
- Maintain absolute compliance with Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and internal company policies.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date daily logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all vehicle documentation, including insurance, licenses, and registrations, remain valid.
- Assist with loading and unloading items securely as required during official assignments.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated professional experience of 2 to 5 years as a company or corporate driver.
- Thorough familiarity with local routes, major highways, and traffic navigation apps.
- Basic understanding of routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional conduct, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
