About the Role
Hoop Telecoms Limited, a rapidly growing full-service telecommunications provider in Nigeria, is looking for a professional and safety-conscious Driver to support our daily operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and secure transit for our staff and materials across Lagos. If you are a careful driver with an impeccable safety record and a strong grasp of Lagos routes, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities- Transport company staff, documents, and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Navigate Lagos roads expertly, with deep familiarity of Mainland routes including Ilupeju, Ikeja, Yaba, and Surulere.
- Utilize GPS navigation tools such as Google Maps to plan optimal routes and avoid traffic delays.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean, tidy, and roadworthy condition at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical faults or maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards during every trip.
- Possession of an SSCE, GCE, or NECO qualification.
- 1 to 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably within Lagos.
- Must possess a valid and up-to-date driver's license.
- Residency in or around Ilupeju, Oworonshoki, Anthony, Maryland, Ketu, Yaba, Surulere, Ikeja, or surrounding areas.
- Demonstrated ability to use Google Maps and other navigation applications effectively.
- Exceptional safety consciousness, defensive driving skills, and personal neatness.
