About the Role
South Merits Royal Hotels and Suites, located in Calabar, is seeking a competent, experienced, and committed Driver to join our dynamic transport and logistics team. Facilitated by Wertvoll Consulting Services, this role is essential in ensuring safe, timely, and professional transportation services for our esteemed guests, VIP visitors, and hotel executives. We are looking for a reliable individual with a strong commitment to road safety, excellent route knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality from the moment our guests step into our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport hotel guests, management, and staff to designated destinations within and outside Calabar.
- Maintain company vehicles in pristine condition, ensuring routine checks for oil, water, tire pressure, and brake efficiency.
- Observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies at all times.
- Keep accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Handle luggage and assist guests professionally during pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults or accident incidents to management.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with a valid Nigerian Driver’s License.
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within the hospitality or corporate sector.
- Excellent knowledge of Calabar road networks and major inter-state routes.
- Good verbal communication skills and a courteous, customer-centric attitude.
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and personal presentation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
