About the Role
Caring Habitat is a 40-bed rehabilitation center dedicated to helping patients transition from dependent to independent living. We are currently seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Driver to join our dedicated team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in our operations by ensuring the safe and timely transportation of patients, staff, and essential supplies, contributing directly to our mission of care and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles, including cars and ambulances, following all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes using Google Maps, leveraging a strong knowledge of the Lagos road network and traffic conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal mechanical condition and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Ensure the interior and exterior cleanliness of assigned vehicles at all times.
- Assist patients with boarding and alighting, or help with loading and unloading equipment as required.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and empathetic demeanor toward patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Minimum of a Primary School Leaving Certificate or SSCE.
- Must possess a valid, current Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- At least 4 to 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within Lagos.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Lagos State traffic laws and road signs.
- Proficiency in navigating Lagos traffic using GPS and Google Maps.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Competitive net pay of NGN 100,000 monthly.
