We are currently looking for a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious Driver to join our growing team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in our daily operations by providing efficient transportation for our staff and clients, ensuring everyone arrives at their destinations safely and on schedule. The ideal candidate will possess deep familiarity with Lagos roads, exceptional defensive driving skills, and a commitment to maintaining our company vehicles in top condition.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport company executives, staff, and clients to designated locations, meetings, and property inspection sites across Lagos and other regions as required.
- Navigate major routes, heavy traffic patterns, and alternative roads efficiently to guarantee punctuality and timely arrivals.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company driving policies at all times.
- Conduct routine daily vehicle inspections, checking oil, water, tire pressure, and brake fluids, and report any mechanical faults promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle both inside and out on a regular basis.
- Handle official documentation, run errands, and manage delivery tasks as assigned by management.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian Driver's Licence is strictly mandatory.
- Proven professional driving experience, specifically navigating the complex traffic and routes of Lagos.
- Comprehensive knowledge of road safety regulations, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Physically fit, alert, and capable of handling the flexible demands and long hours associated with the role.
- Minimum of secondary school education with clean driving records and verifiable references.
