About the Role
Givanas Group of Companies is a leading manufacturer and distributor of fast-moving consumer goods in Nigeria, dedicated to delivering high-quality products including milk, tea, canned seafood, and personal care items to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager to join our growing team at Givanas Cosmetics. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the seamless movement and distribution of materials and finished goods, ensuring optimal efficiency, cost control, and timely delivery across our nationwide operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end transportation, distribution, and fleet operations to ensure prompt nationwide product delivery.
- Oversee route planning, vehicle utilization, fuel management, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise warehouse dispatch, inventory movement, and inter-location transfers in coordination with supply chain teams.
- Manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and contracted transporters, handling rate negotiations and performance SLAs.
- Drive logistics cost control, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives for supply chain optimization.
- Utilize ERP and fleet tracking systems to monitor shipments, generate analytical reports, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- B.Sc. or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant logistics experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
- Strong hands-on expertise in fleet operations, local and nationwide distribution, and route optimization.
- Demonstrated success in managing 3PL relationships, transportation budgeting, and cost reduction strategies.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, GPS tracking software, and modern inventory management tools.
