About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a leading manufacturer and home to the iconic Golden Penny brand, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Dispatch Manager, B2C - Supply Chain to join our operations in Iganmu, Lagos. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless, efficient, and cost-effective provision of outbound logistics and transportation services, ensuring our quality products reach customers in the shortest possible time and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the development and implementation of annual logistics plans, work programs, and operational budgets.
- Coordinate and manage all dispatch operations to guarantee timely truck loading, optimal turnaround times, and flawless customer deliveries.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics, identify process gaps, and implement innovative solutions to continuously improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure all transportation, loading, and dispatch activities strictly comply with applicable industry regulations, safety laws, and company policies.
- Liaise effectively with regulatory authorities, third-party logistics providers, and transporters to facilitate smooth, uninterrupted daily operations.
- Possess a B.Sc. or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of proven professional experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Prior working experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), manufacturing, or large-scale distribution environment is a strong added advantage.
- Possession of a recognized professional certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management will be viewed favorably.
