About the Role
Amorville Nursery & Primary School is a reputable private educational institution located in the Idi-Aba area of Abeokuta, Ogun State. Operating under the motto "Learning with Love, Leading with Light," we are committed to offering quality early childhood and primary education within a safe and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a professional, alert, and trustworthy Driver to join our dedicated support team and ensure the safe daily commute of our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Transport students safely to and from school and on approved school-sponsored excursions or events.
- Observe all traffic laws, road signs, and school safety policies at all times.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school vehicle to check fuel, oil, water, tires, and brakes.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the school vehicle inside and out on a regular basis.
- Report any mechanical faults, damages, or required servicing promptly to school management.
- Assist students safely in boarding and alighting from the vehicle when necessary.
- Maintain an accurate logbook for vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and travel routes.
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC/NECO certificate.
- Possession of a valid and current Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be highly disciplined, safety-conscious, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Physically fit with good eyesight and the stamina required for daily driving duties.
- Prior professional driving experience, preferably within the education sector, is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Abeokuta roads and surrounding areas in Ogun State.
