About the Role

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is a global health nonprofit dedicated to building stronger health systems and saving lives worldwide. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Driver to join our team for the CHWP Project. In this role, you will provide secure and efficient transportation services for project staff, VIP visitors, and stakeholders while ensuring strict adherence to MSH safety guidelines and procurement integrity policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport project teams, VIP visitors, and staff to and from meetings, field locations, and official events in Ebonyi and Yobe States.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, routine maintenance checks, and maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel consumption trackers, and trip tickets.
  • Ensure all vehicle documentation, licenses, insurance, and safety accessories are up to date and compliant with the Nigerian Highway Code.
  • Coordinate all travel itineraries closely with the operations and security units to guarantee passenger safety.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of goods securely and handle expense reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a High School Certificate with 2 to 4 years of professional driving experience in logistics, transportation, or mechanics.
  • Possession of a valid Nigerian driver’s license with a clean driving record and no traffic violations.
  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian highway system, road safety regulations, and minor vehicle repairs.
  • Good communication skills in English, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to undertake long trips, irregular work schedules, and domestic travel on short notice.
