Key Responsibilities- Safely transport agro-allied commodities, food staples, and farm produce to wholesale and retail clients nationwide.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking oil, water, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws, company safety policies, and designated delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, waybills, and fuel consumption records.
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and offloading of goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to report any mechanical faults, accidents, or delays immediately.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent educational qualification.
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License with a clean driving record and professional driving certification (an added advantage).
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within the logistics, haulage, or agricultural supply sector.
- Good knowledge of major road networks, routes, and highways across Nigeria, particularly the South-East region.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
