About the Role
Penafort Energy Limited, an established indigenous company operating in the downstream oil and gas and food and beverage sectors, is currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Dispatch Rider for our drinks subsidiary. In this role, you will play a vital part in our logistics and distribution network, ensuring that our products and documents reach our customers and vendors promptly and securely across designated Nigerian routes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver products, documents, parcels, and other designated items to customers, offices, and vendors accurately and safely.
- Collect authorized payments and items, ensuring strict financial accountability and proper documentation.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption, transit time, and unnecessary operational expenses.
- Maintain comprehensive records of daily deliveries, collections, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Conduct routine pre-trip inspections of the company motorcycle, checking tyres, brakes, lights, oil, and fuel levels.
- Report any mechanical faults, maintenance needs, or road incidents immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all local traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company transportation policies at all times.
- Handle all company products, cash, and confidential items with the utmost care, integrity, and professionalism.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a polite and respectful attitude when interacting with clients and the public.
- Assist with general logistics and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
- Valid professional riders permit or motorcycle rider's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven working experience as a Dispatch Rider, preferably within the food, beverage, or logistics industry in Nigeria.
- Good geographical knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic management strategies.
- Strong commitment to road safety, punctuality, and defensive driving principles.
