About the Role
Pacific International Drilling is a rapidly growing offshore drilling company providing global ultra-deepwater drilling services using high-specification drillships. We are currently looking for a skilled Drilling Section Leader to join our operations in Nigeria. In this critical offshore leadership role, you will ensure our state-of-the-art vessels maintain the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, and environmental compliance while delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and oversee the operational safety, efficiency, production, and client relations of all daily offshore drilling operations.
- Implement and strictly uphold company safety protocols, environmental compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Provide robust onboard leadership to ensure all customer drilling programs are successfully executed in alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage rig budget allocations, inventory, and supplies to maintain optimal operational readiness.
- High School Diploma, SSCE, WAEC, or GCE O'Level, with higher education qualifications such as an OND, HND, or B.Sc. strongly preferred.
- Valid MODU OIM License and an unrestricted professional license with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on offshore drilling experience.
- Strong technical and operational knowledge of ultra-deepwater drilling systems and high-specification drillships.
- Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria with fluent English communication skills, both oral and written.
