We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Drilling Logistics Lead III to join our Projects, Drilling & Exploration Procurement group. In this pivotal role, you will oversee end-to-end logistics, material control, inventory management, and contractor supervision to ensure seamless material movements to both offshore and onshore rig locations. Key Responsibilities- Receive and review drilling programs meticulously to determine equipment, tools, and material requirements for each rig and well location.
- Ensure daily site operational requirements are adequately met through proactive planning and efficient coordination.
- Manage the safe and appropriate storage, handling, and preservation of company-owned drilling equipment and tools.
- Coordinate timely equipment replenishment through procurement, local fabrication, and certified repairs.
- Supervise drilling logistics contractor staff and oversee daily material control activities.
- Coordinate secure and compliant material movements to various offshore and onshore rig locations.
- Support comprehensive inventory management, oilfield accounting, and contract administration operations.
- Associate degree with formal training in mechanical trades or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in supply chain and logistics, with a strong preference for international frontier operations.
- Demonstrated experience in operations supporting drilling activities and related materials, equipment, and services.
- Proven background in supporting the successful start-up of new operations in remote or challenging locations.
- Familiarity with heavy material-handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory control systems and contract administration.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
