We are currently recruiting a strategic and dynamic Drilling & Completions Manager to drive operational excellence for our esteemed clients. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end drilling and completion operations, ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within strict budgetary guidelines while maintaining compliance with local and international regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct end-to-end drilling and completion operations from initial planning through to project execution and evaluation.
- Manage strategic program planning, ensuring alignment with overarching company and client business objectives.
- Oversee high-level vendor and contractor management, negotiating terms and monitoring performance to guarantee quality service delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive budget oversight, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or operational integrity.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance, environmental policies, and health and safety standards across all rig sites.
- Mentor and guide multi-disciplinary engineering and rig teams to foster a high-performance, safety-first culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in oil and gas upstream operations.
- Proven track record of successfully leading multi-disciplinary engineering and offshore/onshore rig teams.
- Deep understanding of Nigerian oil and gas regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
