About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in bridging the gap between conceptual design and physical construction by translating architectural ideas into precise, actionable technical documents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed architectural and technical drawings for various construction projects using industry-standard software.
- Interpret complex architectural designs, structural plans, and technical specifications accurately.
- Modify existing drawings swiftly and efficiently based on evolving project requirements and unforeseen site conditions.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project engineers, and on-site construction teams to ensure seamless workflow.
- Ensure all technical drawings strictly comply with project specifications, local building codes, and construction standards.
- Maintain organized project documentation and revision histories for all assigned drafting tasks.
- Possession of an HND or B.Sc. degree in Architecture or a closely related field.
- Proven professional experience working as a Draftsman within the Nigerian construction or real estate industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in relevant computer-aided design and drafting software, particularly AutoCAD.
- Solid understanding of architectural detailing, structural principles, and standard construction processes.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and high levels of drawing accuracy.
