About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier provider of outsourcing, technical staffing, and procurement services to the Nigerian oil and gas sector. We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to join our Central Pool for DPP Services. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that purchasing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in strict compliance with internal regulations, joint venture rules, and local legislation. Key Responsibilities- Ensure 100% compliance of the purchasing process with internal company rules, SOX, and applicable local laws and regulations.
- Create Purchase Requests and manage commitments below $50K USD in SAP/UNISUP.
- Run competitive Call for Tender (CFT) processes by engaging at least three registered vendors.
- Negotiate and issue Purchase Orders for services not exceeding USD 50,000 while ensuring the best compromise between lead time, value, and quality.
- Ensure accurate and timely creation of Service Entry Sheets to facilitate prompt vendor invoice processing.
- Maintain proper archiving and documentation of all contractual files for audit and reference purposes.
- Adhere strictly to H3SE rules, participate in safety meetings, and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (BSc.) in Engineering, Management, or Social Sciences.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in contracts and purchasing.
- Membership in relevant professional supply chain bodies is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SAP/R3 or e-sourcing tools.
