We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dedicated support staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning duties across classrooms, administrative offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors regularly to ensure a dirt-free environment.
- Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and maintain clean waste receptacles.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces including door handles, desk tops, and stair railings to promote health and safety.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and chalkboards/whiteboards as required.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed on the premises to the school management immediately.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and securely after use.
- Possess relevant educational qualifications and proven experience working as a cleaner, preferably in a school or institutional setting.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor tasks throughout the workday.
- High level of personal hygiene, integrity, and reliability.
- Residency in Akure or willingness to commute to Ijapo Estate daily.
