About the Role
JMG, a global leader in power generation and electrical solutions with over 15 years of excellence in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Distribution Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead our logistics operations, ensuring seamless transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and product delivery to support our expanding nationwide footprint. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for world-class service by optimizing distribution costs, enhancing supply chain efficiency, and upholding strict compliance standards across our extensive network.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and optimize end-to-end transport, logistics, and product delivery operations across Nigeria.
- Oversee warehouse management and inventory control processes to ensure high accuracy and minimal stock discrepancies.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize distribution costs while maintaining high service delivery standards.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers, third-party carriers, and logistics service providers.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance with health, safety, and transportation standards across all facilities.
- Promptly investigate and resolve delivery issues, supply chain bottlenecks, and customer complaints.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics management.
- Prior working experience within the energy, power generation, or heavy engineering industry is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated expertise in cost control, vendor management, and process optimization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
