About the Role
CWG Engineering Limited is a wholly employee-owned engineering consulting practice specializing in 3D Laser Scanning, Engineering & Design Services, Manpower Supply, and Project Management throughout Nigeria. We are currently looking for a skilled Batching Plant Operator to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and safe production of concrete materials to meet our clients' rigorous project objectives while upholding our core values of safety, transparency, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and control batching plant equipment to produce high-quality concrete materials according to project specifications.
- Perform routine daily inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on plant machinery to prevent operational downtime.
- Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients such as aggregate, sand, water, and cement accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate timely replenishment with the supply chain team.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of daily production output, material usage, and equipment maintenance activities.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and workplace regulations.
- Proven experience operating a concrete batching plant or similar heavy industrial equipment.
- Solid understanding of plant operations, machinery controls, and standard production procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid certifications in operating heavy machinery or relevant technical training will be an added advantage.
