Key Responsibilities- Dispense and fit corrective lenses according to prescription specifications
- Conduct preliminary eye examinations and vision screening assessments
- Advise patients on lens options, frame selection, and proper eyewear care
- Maintain accurate patient records and optical dispensing documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and professional best practices
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and optometrists in patient care delivery
- Manage optical inventory and equipment maintenance
- Provide customer education on eye health and vision correction options
- Minimum ND or HND qualification in Dispensing Opticianry
- Valid registration with the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN)
- Current annual practicing license from ODORBN
- Age between 18 and 40 years at application (subject to state policy modifications)
