About the Role
Pragmatic Technologies (PRAG) is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, including power systems, electronics, and consumer tech, operating alongside our e-commerce subsidiary, BuyRight. We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Dispatch Rider to join our growing logistics team in Lagos, ensuring the seamless distribution of goods to our corporate clients, resellers, and retail customers.
Key Responsibilities- Pick up and deliver goods, packages, and documents accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Plan efficient routes using local road knowledge and GPS navigation to minimize delays and fuel consumption.
- Comply strictly with traffic laws, wear approved safety gear, and maintain safe riding practices.
- Conduct daily pre-trip motorcycle inspections and report mechanical faults promptly.
- Obtain accurate proof of delivery (POD) and maintain clean delivery and mileage records.
- Interact professionally with customers and safeguard all entrusted company assets and packages.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
- Valid rider's permit/license and sound knowledge of Lagos Mainland and Island routes.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional dispatch riding experience within Lagos.
- Strong understanding of basic motorcycle maintenance and road safety.
- Demonstrated integrity, punctuality, and excellent customer service skills.
- Must successfully pass background checks, guarantor verification, and practical riding assessments.
