About the Role
Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL), a leading producer of fresh milk and dairy products in Nigeria operating from our expansive farm in Vom, Plateau State, is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Rider for our operations in Lagos and Ajuwon, Ogun State. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a crucial part in our distribution network, ensuring our goods reach clients promptly and safely while upholding our commitment to exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver parcels, goods, and company documents to various destinations across Lagos and Ogun State promptly and safely.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize transit time and operational costs.
- Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Conduct routine checks on the assigned motorcycle to ensure optimal working condition and report any mechanical faults immediately.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and customers to resolve any logistical challenges encountered on the road.
- Comply strictly with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Minimum of SSCE, GCE, NECO, OND, NCE, or HND qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional riding experience in a similar logistics or dispatch role.
- Possession of a valid motorcycle riding license and deep familiarity with Lagos and Ogun State routes.
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for professional customer interaction.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle and transport parcels of various sizes securely.
