About the Role
Ruth & Roots Ltd is a renowned alternative health company dedicated to providing trusted health remedies through herbs, nutrition, and non-surgical procedures. We are currently looking for a reliable, fast, and highly organized Dispatch Rider to manage our day-to-day deliveries. If you know Lagos routes exceptionally well, prioritize road safety, and possess a strong commitment to professional customer service, we would love to have you on our team.
Key Responsibilities- Execute prompt pick-ups and deliveries of packages, documents, and health products to designated locations across Lagos.
- Map out the most efficient routes to ensure timely drop-offs while optimizing travel time and fuel consumption.
- Ensure all items are securely loaded, transported, and delivered in pristine, undamaged condition.
- Obtain accurate signatures, names, and digital delivery confirmations upon successful drop-off.
- Conduct routine daily checks on the company motorcycle including oil levels, brakes, and tire pressure, reporting faults immediately.
- Maintain a polite, friendly, and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and recipients as a brand ambassador.
- Possession of a valid rider's license and up-to-date rider permits.
- Proven professional experience working as a Dispatch Rider or courier within Lagos.
- Exceptional knowledge of Lagos roads, alternate routes, and traffic management strategies, complemented by strong GPS navigation skills.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills for effective customer interaction and delivery logging.
- Physically fit and capable of riding safely in diverse weather conditions while lifting packages weighing up to 15-20kg.
