About the Role
Penafort Energy Limited is a dynamic indigenous Nigerian company operating within the downstream oil and gas and the food and beverage industries. We are currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Dispatch Rider to join our logistics team for our drinks subsidiary. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our products reach our customers promptly, safely, and in pristine condition, supporting our commitment to exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver products, documents, and other assigned items to designated locations promptly and safely across approved routes.
- Verify delivery items, quantities, and customer details before departure to ensure absolute accuracy.
- Obtain appropriate customer confirmation, signatures, and proof of delivery for all completed trips.
- Handle company products with utmost care to prevent any damage, loss, or contamination.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, expenses, fuel usage, and other daily logistics activities.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip checks on the assigned motorcycle, promptly reporting any mechanical faults.
- Strictly observe all Nigerian road safety regulations and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Report any delays, accidents, delivery challenges, or customer complaints immediately to the supervisor.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification with a valid rider's license.
- Proven professional experience working as a dispatch rider within Lagos or other Nigerian locations.
- Deep familiarity with local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Clean driving record and basic knowledge of motorcycle maintenance and troubleshooting.
