About the Role
FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria PLC, an affiliate of Royal FrieslandCampina and a leader in dairy manufacturing, is seeking a dynamic Commercialisation Project Manager to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos. In this role, you will lead medium-sized innovation, product, and supply chain projects from concept through implementation, driving commercial success across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end management of New Product Development (NPD), market expansions, product redesigns, and innovation-related CAPEX projects.
- Drive cross-functional readiness across Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and Quality for seamless product launches.
- Coordinate product and SKU changes, including pack extensions, value engineering, and export readiness initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across sourcing, manufacturing, and regulatory processes, developing robust mitigation plans.
- Manage regulatory compliance activities, including product registrations, artwork approvals, and statutory requirements.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, maintaining project documentation, dashboards, and regular governance updates.
- Promote continuous improvement through the adoption of best-practice project management methodologies and digital tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in Project Management, Commercialization, Innovation, Supply Chain, or Product Development within the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience leading innovation launches, portfolio changes, and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile are considered an added advantage.
