About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a responsible and reliable Dispatch Rider to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will safely and efficiently transport and deliver goods, samples, and packages to designated locations while ensuring timely delivery, proper vehicle maintenance, and strict compliance with all safety regulations. Key Responsibilities- Safely transport and deliver goods, packages, or samples to designated locations within specified timeframes.
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and navigation applications to ensure prompt deliveries.
- Strictly adhere to traffic laws, company safety regulations, and quality and food safety policies.
- Load, unload, and properly secure all goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Ensure the motorcycle is fueled, clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition at all times.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections, report faults promptly, and coordinate necessary repairs and servicing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance incidents.
- Interact professionally with clients, delivering exceptional customer service during every interaction.
- Assist with office pickups and other related transportation duties as assigned by management.
- Valid rider's license and any other required legal certifications for operating a motorcycle in Nigeria.
- Proven professional experience working as a Dispatch Rider or in a similar logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of local routes, roads, and traffic patterns within the area of operation.
- Proficiency in using GPS and mobile navigation tools.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
