About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a responsible and professional Dispatch Rider to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, samples, and packages to designated locations while ensuring exceptional customer service and strict adherence to traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport and deliver goods or samples to designated locations within the specified timeframe.
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and navigation applications to guarantee timely deliveries.
- Strictly follow assigned routes, schedules, traffic laws, and company safety regulations.
- Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring they are properly secured during transit.
- Ensure the motorcycle is fueled, clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition at all times.
- Conduct routine motorcycle inspections, report faults, and arrange for necessary repairs and servicing.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, repairs, and delivery incidents.
- Interact professionally with clients, providing courteous and prompt customer service.
- Comply with company quality and food safety policies, immediately reporting any identified hazards.
- Assist with office pickups and other assigned logistics or transportation duties as required.
- Valid rider’s license and any other required statutory certifications.
- Proven professional experience working as a Dispatch Rider or in a similar logistics role.
- Extensive knowledge of roads, shortcuts, and routes within the area of operation.
- Proficiency in using GPS and mobile navigation tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate trip records and work independently with minimal supervision.
