About the Role
Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited is a market leader in the Day-Old Chicks (DOC) industry, dedicated to delivering exceptional quality products and services that guarantee profitable poultry farming across Nigeria. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-riented Dispatch & Logistics Officer to coordinate and monitor the timely, safe, and efficient movement of our products to customers and designated locations. In this vital role, you will drive dispatch planning, vehicle coordination, delivery tracking, and logistics optimization while maintaining strict animal welfare and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch schedules based on confirmed customer orders and delivery timelines.
- Supervise the loading, verification, and transportation of Day-Old Chicks and company consignments.
- Manage drivers, vehicle allocation, and route optimization to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-reduction.
- Monitor deliveries in real-time, tracking and escalating delays, breakdowns, or discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Hatchery, Warehouse, and Finance teams for seamless order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate documentation including waybills, delivery notes, and proof of delivery.
- Ensure compliance with approved safety, handling, and animal welfare standards during transit.
- Generate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly logistics and dispatch reports.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Prior experience in the agricultural, FMCG, manufacturing, or live-bird transportation sector is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern logistics tracking tools.
