Godfrey Okoye University Teaching Hospital (GOUNITH), formerly Ntasi Obi Hospital, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Physiotherapy to lead our Department of Physiotherapy. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight for the Physiotherapy department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.

• Direct and manage daily operations of the Physiotherapy and Medical Rehabilitation department.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient treatment plans.
• Mentor junior staff, physiotherapy interns, and medical students within our academic and clinical environment.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, quality assurance protocols, and innovative clinical practices.
• Ensure compliance with hospital standards, safety regulations, and professional codes of conduct.

Applicants must meet the following rigorous academic, professional, and experience requirements to be considered for this leadership position:

• B.Sc in Physiotherapy or Medical Rehabilitation from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 15 years of progressive post-qualification work experience in a reputable healthcare or hospital setting.
• Current and valid practicing license with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Registration Board of Nigeria (MRTB).
• Demonstrated relevant post-qualification experience and exceptional professional competence.
• Must be ICT compliant with strong administrative and digital health systems proficiency.
• Exhibit high levels of integrity, outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead within a multidisciplinary environment.
