About the Role
Rex Christus College Kubwa, a prestigious Catholic secondary institution founded in 2010 by John Cardinal Onaiyekan, is recruiting a passionate Digital Technologies/Computer Studies Teacher. Located in Abuja, our school serves over 400 junior and senior secondary students and is committed to academic excellence, technological innovation, and character development. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and innovative Digital Technologies and Computer Studies lessons to junior and senior secondary students
- Develop comprehensive curriculum materials aligned with Nigerian educational standards
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth
- Integrate modern teaching methodologies and digital tools into classroom instruction
- Participate in professional development and collaborative curriculum planning
- Foster student interest in technology, coding, and digital innovation
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and attendance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education (NCE, B.Ed, PGDE, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of digital technologies, computer science, and information systems
- Teaching credential with demonstrated expertise in secondary education
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification (highly advantageous)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
