About the Role
Trident Dental Services is a premier, state-of-the-art oral healthcare center located in Mabushi, Abuja, Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated Dietician to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team and help our patients achieve optimal overall health through specialized nutritional counseling and dietary management.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' nutritional needs, dietary habits, and medical histories to develop customized diet plans.
- Educate patients on the critical link between proper nutrition and oral health, particularly regarding periodontal health and post-operative recovery.
- Collaborate closely with dental professionals and other healthcare specialists to provide holistic patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutritional plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinic standards and healthcare regulations.
- Conduct informative workshops or provide educational materials on healthy eating habits for our diverse clientele.
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Human Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid professional certification and current practicing license from relevant regulatory bodies in Nigeria.
- Proven clinical experience working as a Dietician within a reputable healthcare facility or hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy and its direct application to dental and general wellness.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and empathetic patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary medical environment in Abuja.
