About the Role
Valency Agro believes in the unity of farmers, agrochemical dealers, suppliers, and individuals who partake in the creation of food. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Diesel Dispenser Operator to join our dynamic team at our cashew processing facility in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of diesel to company vehicles, heavy generators, production equipment, and plant machinery, ensuring seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense diesel accurately to industrial generators, trucks, forklifts, and plant machinery while verifying all fuel requests.
- Conduct daily diesel stock measurements, reconciliations, and inventory tracking to prevent losses and variances.
- Inspect dispensing pumps, meters, hoses, and storage tanks regularly, reporting any defects immediately.
- Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, fire safety regulations, and spill prevention standards.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly fuel consumption and inventory reports.
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, or an equivalent technical qualification.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in diesel dispensing operations, fuel depots, or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Maximum age limit of 40 years with strong physical fitness for an industrial setting.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word for record-keeping.
