In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the foundational communication skills of our students, helping them develop impeccable pronunciation, articulate speech, and confidence in public speaking. Key Responsibilities- Teach engaging and interactive diction and phonics lessons to students using modern pedagogical approaches.
- Help students improve their speech sounds, accent neutralization, vocabulary, and overall verbal communication.
- Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a conducive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Design and implement creative learning materials, rhymes, poems, and drills to enhance phonemic awareness.
- Participate in school activities, elocution club coordinations, and speech competitions.
- Minimum of a B.Ed, B.A, or B.Sc in English Language, Education, or a related relevant subject.
- Prior teaching experience in diction, phonics, or early childhood education will be a distinct added advantage.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with a neutral and clear accent.
- Demonstrated proficiency in classroom management and student engagement.
- Must be self-driven, highly dedicated, and genuinely passionate about child education.
- Mandatory requirement: Interested candidates must currently reside in Awka, Anambra State.
