Petroexcel Technology Services (P) Limited is seeking a skilled Diameter Operator to join our dynamic pipe mill operations in Nigeria. As a professionally managed design, engineering, and procurement services organization, we deliver cutting-energy solutions across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. In this critical role, you will ensure the precise manufacturing and quality production of steel pipes within our advanced heavy industrial facilities, contributing to our reputation for engineering excellence and reliable infrastructure delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor pipe mill machinery and diameter-sizing equipment in accordance with strict safety and technical standards.
- Conduct routine production operations, quality control checks, and accurate documentation of manufacturing processes.
- Perform basic electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and support industrial automation systems including PLC and VFD.
- Collaborate with production planning and engineering teams to minimize downtime and optimize mill output.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental guidelines across all plant operations.
- Proven hands-on experience as a Diameter Operator within a Pipe Mill, Spiral Pipe Mill, Steel Plant, or Rolling Mill.
- Strong background in heavy industrial projects, pipe manufacturing, or related heavy machinery operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of production operations, quality control protocols, and industrial troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PLC/VFD systems, electrical maintenance, and industrial automation is a significant advantage.
