About the Role
Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) is an international, non-profit, apolitical NGO dedicated to providing a comprehensive response to the basic needs of populations affected by humanitarian crises. We are currently looking for a talented and driven Deputy Grants Manager to join our mission in Nigeria, helping our teams guarantee full compliance with donor contractual obligations and manage the complete lifecycle of analytical reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate end-to-end donor reporting processes, ensuring timely submission of accurate financial and narrative reports.
- Monitor project implementation and ensure adherence to donor guidelines, contractual requirements, and internal deadlines.
- Contribute actively to the drafting of project proposals, amendment requests, and budget development in collaboration with finance and implementation teams.
- Manage internal and external document distribution, including organizing kick-off meetings and updating central grants tracking tools.
- Oversee donor visibility and communication requirements, including success stories, media planning, and consolidated communication reports.
- Represent PUI at designated humanitarian coordination meetings and foster strategic partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Political Science, International Development, Public Administration, Business, or a related field.
- At least two years of professional experience in grant compliance, donor reporting, or program development within an international NGO.
- Exceptional English writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency in local Nigerian languages is a strong asset.
- Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet strict deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure.
