About the Role
Geneith Pharmaceuticals Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical company with a strong national presence across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones, is seeking a visionary and results-driven Deputy General Manager to join our executive leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic oversight to key departmental heads, coordinate cross-functional operations, and drive commercial growth to solidify our market leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level executive oversight to key departmental heads and coordinate seamless cross-functional operations across the organisation.
- Drive aggressive commercial growth, market expansion, and innovative business development initiatives nationwide.
- Oversee human resources, corporate administration, supply chain logistics, and production coordination.
- Monitor comprehensive financial performance, manage budgets, drive operational efficiency, and enforce stringent cost control measures.
- Ensure strict regulatory compliance, proactive risk management, and maintain positive stakeholder engagement.
- Support organisational development, foster effective people management, and champion the implementation of long-term strategic objectives.
- Minimum of 10 to 12 years of progressive leadership experience, with a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- At least 3 years served in a senior management or executive leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or MSc is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in pharmaceutical commercial leadership, market development, and managing multifunctional teams.
