About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Depot Account Officer to join our finance team and oversee financial operations at our depot facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate daily records of all financial transactions and operational expenses at the depot.
  • Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
  • Monitor sales, cash collections, and manage petty cash disbursements efficiently.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of cash, bank statements, and inventory accounts.
  • Track stock movements closely to ensure accurate documentation and prevent discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and required financial documentation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory regulations.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Depot Operations, Logistics, and Corporate Finance teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Possession of professional accounting qualifications (such as ACA or ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven accounting or auditing experience, preferably within the downstream oil and gas or depot environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting software.
  • Exceptional analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
