About the Role
Greywood Hotels & Apartments is situated in a serene and well-secured environment, providing clean and comfortable accommodation to corporate professionals and leisure guests alike. We are currently looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Personnel to join our dedicated hospitality team and ensure the seamless operation of our hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and troubleshooting calls from guests and staff.
- Repair or replace defective equipment, light fixtures, plumbing fittings, and furniture.
- Maintain accurate logs of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian health, safety, and environmental regulations across the property.
- Assist in setting up equipment, furniture, and facilities for corporate events and functions.
- Report major maintenance issues, structural hazards, or safety concerns to management immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the maintenance workshop and storage areas.
- OND, HND, or relevant vocational/technical training in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in hotel, facility, or property maintenance is strongly preferred.
- Sound practical knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Physically fit with the stamina to lift heavy items, bend, and work in varying conditions.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, guest-oriented attitude.
