About the Role
Palton Morgan Holdings, a leading real estate and construction group in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our professional team in Lagos. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be instrumental in driving the financial success of our high-end residential and commercial projects through rigorous cost management, accurate estimating, and strategic contract administration.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, manage, and evaluate comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documents.
- Provide accurate cost estimates, financial forecasts, and budgeting support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor ongoing project costs closely, evaluate variations, and prepare regular cost reports for management.
- Identify and advise on practical cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Assist in risk assessment, value engineering, and project feasibility studies to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Nigerian real estate or construction sector.
- Strong expertise in cost control, cost planning, and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
- Professional certification or active membership with bodies such as NIQS or RICS is an added advantage.
- Exceptional analytical, numerical, negotiation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
