About the Role
Zamfara State Government is recruiting a skilled and dedicated Dental Technologist to join its healthcare workforce. This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to oral healthcare delivery and community health initiatives across Zamfara State. You will work within the state's health system, providing technical expertise in dental care and supporting the advancement of dental health services throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and clinical dental services in designated healthcare facilities
- Perform dental procedures and treatments under professional supervision
- Maintain dental equipment and ensure proper sterilization protocols
- Keep accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Support public health outreach and community dental programs
- Undertake shift duties and emergency assignments as required
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Recognized qualification in Dental Technology from an accredited institution
- Valid Registration Certificate from the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN)
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate (where applicable)
- Valid National Identification Number (NIN)
- Must be an indigene of Zamfara State
- Medically and physically fit for employment
- Clean criminal record with no history of dismissal from public service
- Age between 18 and 40 years at application time
- Recent passport photograph
- Birth certificate or Declaration of Age
- Local Government Indigene Certificate or Certificate of State of Origin
- Academic qualification certificates
- Professional registration certificate
- Internship completion certificate (where applicable)
- NYSC documentation (where required)
