Join Genesis Specialist Hospital, a leading surgical center in Lagos equipped with state-of-the-art operating rooms and comprehensive surgical services. We are seeking a Senior Medical Officer to lead our clinical team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care across all departments.
As Senior Medical Officer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating day-to-day clinical activities, managing both inpatient and outpatient services, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day clinical activities across all hospital departments
- Provide comprehensive medical care for both outpatient and inpatient populations
- Supervise, mentor, and support Medical Officers and clinical staff
- Manage acute cases and lead emergency response protocols
- Maintain and continuously improve clinical care standards and patient safety protocols
- Participate in clinical decision-making and treatment planning
- MBBS or MBChB degree with current MDCN registration
- Minimum 7 years post-NYSC clinical experience
- Strong expertise in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine
- Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
